Rising Black Men is a community organization founded on Michigan State University campus by Tim Herd. The goal of this organization is to connect black males to faculty and staff to increase social capital while providing mentorship at Michigan State University. While being apart of such an amazing organization I had the opportunity to advance my academia career leverage my skill set
